Traveling Teams at Accurate Controls, Inc. – An Interview with Michael and Danielle Connell

How did you hear about Accurate Controls?

We heard about Accurate Controls through the college I went to in Florida. They were in search of people with computer and electronics backgrounds, and contacted my college looking for interested candidates.

How long have you been with ACI?

I have been with Accurate Controls since February of 2014.  My wife Danielle joined Accurate at the beginning of 2015.

What were your careers before working for ACI?

I was an electronics technician in the NAVY and a college student prior to working here. Danielle had just completed college in baking and pastry, so she worked in that line of work until joining ACI.

What have you found most enjoyable about working together on the road?

We enjoy the freedom and adventure of living on the road. It is one of the main reasons we purchased our RV, because we both really enjoy traveling around the country.

What are your interests outside of work and how have you been able to maintain them on the road?

We really enjoy doing outdoor activities such as skiing, kayaking, and hiking. We bought a toy hauler RV so we can bring all of our equipment with us everywhere we go. We also go for bike rides on the motorcycle and scooter, which is a nice way to see all the different areas around where we work.

What is the most interesting thing you have seen while traveling the country?

As far as what the most interesting thing we have seen is rather hard to answer. We have done everything from kayaking the Mangrove Tunnels in Clearwater, Florida, to snowboarding in Park City, Utah. Through the last 4-5 years we have had so many adventures and gone to so many places, it is just too hard to put a finger on a single place. It’s a great career to have together, as we love to travel, sight-see, and enjoy new experiences throughout the country.
